Trauma Free World is a global nonprofit equipping educators, practitioners, and organizations with trauma-informed resources and training. As their offerings expanded from new workshops and community programs to digital products, their website lagged, with inconsistent styling, scattered content, and a backend that often tied up staff in developer requests.
To better showcase their mission, guide visitors to the right resources or donation paths, and put content editing firmly in the hands of their team, Trauma Free World teamed up with Creed for a brand refresh, streamlined WordPress build, and optimized user experience.
We guided Trauma Free World through a five-step process:
“Redesigning the Trauma Free World website was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The team demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and a deep understanding of our mission throughout the entire process. The end result is a stunning, user-friendly website that perfectly captures the heart of our organization. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome!”
— Diane Hersberger, Vice President of Operations at Trauma Free World
With the new site launched in April 2025, visitors now enjoy clear navigation and cohesive branding, making it easy to explore Trauma Free World’s programs, access training materials, purchase digital products, or donate with confidence.
“Before the redesign, we spent so much time wrestling with small edits and inconsistent styling,” says Vice President of Operations Diane Hersberger. “Now updates are seamless, and visitors find exactly what they need.”
Behind the scenes, the team can now make content updates directly within the WordPress content management system and is no longer constrained by developer budgets or timelines. Rigorous QA and accessibility checks uphold WCAG 2.1 AA standards, and an ongoing maintenance agreement ensures that any future updates are handled promptly, so Trauma Free World can stay focused on supporting educators and practitioners.
