Description:
Approaching the 2009 - 2010 season, the Minnesota Wild had sold out every game of every season in it's history. An impressive record they were eager to maintain despite changes in the franchise and a deepening recession. It was time to remind fans, season ticket holders and even sponsors that Minnesota's passion for hockey was one thing everyone could count on.
Problem:
The recent recession heightened pressure to sell tickets, and the problem was compounded by communications problems on main website.
Solution:
The Wild hired Creed Interactive as their interactive partners to develop a series of immersive, interactive micro-sites targeting different audiences. Michael Brinkman of the Wild said, We wanted to remind each specific audience how the thrill of the game and the fan's connection with the overall atmosphere that can only be fully experienced at Xcel Energy Center.
